Witch craft spells and magick

An important witchcraft note: it’s important, no…vital to remember that when performing spells or magick of any kind, not to interfere with free will. Love or binding spells directed at a specific person without their knowing, can have a nasty karmic kick-back to the witch casting them, especially if the spell would make them say or do things they wouldn't’t normally do. Always, always remember the Rede and the Law of Three; do what you will so long as it harms none, and that the energy you send out will always come back to you threefold…so be careful!!

I know that many of you, when first hearing the words “spell” or “magick”, automatically envision crooked old hags throwing things into a bubbling cauldron, or especially these days, Harry Potter. While the idea of shooting blue sparks out of your fingertips and getting into people’s dreams is mostly a Hollywood fantasy, the basic idea remains the same; manipulating energy to produce a required effect. Sounds pretty high-tech doesn't’t it? For the sake of simplicity, let’s first focus on what magick isn’t, and what it can’t do.

By this time, I’m sure that you all are aware that witches can’t just wiggle their noses or nod their heads to perform magick. All the spells and magick in the world can’t make you that next big lottery winner, nor will it make all of your worries disappear with a snap of your fingers. It cannot, and will not, make things appear out of thin air…likewise it cannot make things vanish into thin air. Basically, you have to take all that you’ve seen in movies or on the TV and cut that knowledge in half just to find a tiny portion of truth.

Take “white” and “black” magick for instance. Many people, including some young witches, believe that magick must be either good or bad, or that the performing witch must be either a good witch or a bad witch. That’s a bit like asking your devoutly catholic Aunty whether she’s a good Christian or a bad one.
If spellcraft and magick is the manipulating of energy to achieve a goal, and energy itself is neither black nor white but neutral, then it seems a bit silly to think that magick is purely good or purely bad. Mother Nature herself is never entirely one or the other, and neither are the witches that worship her.

For a newcomer to the magical world, it’s best to start off with witch craft spells that can help you personally; money spells for help paying that extra bill, or protection spells to keep negative forces away from you and your home. If you absolutely must do witch craft love spells, exercise the utmost caution when choosing your particular spell. Never cast a spell directly on someone without them knowing, and never interfere with that person’s free will. Choosing to ignore these simple rules could land you in some karmic hot water that’s very difficult to get out of…be warned.
Another important thing to remember is that unless you’re a more experienced witch and know how to work within the guidelines of the Rede, it’s not a good idea to cast a spell on someone else’s behalf. Most of the passion needed to aid the spell is within the person you’re casting for, not you, so the end result may not come as soon as you’d like or it may not come at all.

In a nutshell, the magick and spells you perform only have as much power as you can give them. If you’re not feeling well, or are a little drained emotionally, it’s probably not a good idea to try spells at the moment. Wait until you’re feeling better, otherwise you’re just wasting your energy. It’s a widely held belief that if your body is “polluted” with things like nicotine, drugs, or alcohol, then your witch craft spells will either be ineffective or maybe even backfire. This is true only to an extent. Nicotine and alcohol are sometimes needed for certain magickal purposes, they only become problematic when you allow them too. As for drugs, I don’t believe that things like antidepressants or prescribed medications cause a major problem when it comes to magick and spells; it’s the other drugs that can be the problem, especially when they control you.

Last, but not the least, you must have a true understanding of what it is that you’re trying to achieve. Can you see the end result clearly in your mind? Are you the only one to benefit from the process, or will everyone be able to share your good fortune? Do you truly deserve the things your asking for? Is magick the only way to solve the problem or can I handle it myself? You should be able to answer an honest and loud YES!

On a final note, I cannot stress enough how important the Rede and the Law of Three truly are when it comes to magick witch craft and witch craft spells. A lot of novices will give you the wrong advice, saying that their particular love spell is guaranteed to work or your money back. Perhaps their spell really does work, but when it’s cast at the wrong person, you will not get the results you were hoping for. So please, be careful, use your head and remember: An’ it harm none, do as you will; the energy that comes from thee returns always…three times three.

Brightest Blessings to you all,
Kia

Tis the witching hour of night,
Or bed is the moon and bright,
And the stars they glisten, glisten,
Seeming with bright eyes to listen
For what listen they?
