Witches Fairy Ring

A fairy ring is a “dark green ring on a lawn or in a meadow and was traditionally identified as a favourite haunt of the fairies.” According to legend, fairies danced around these rings at midnight and if a human fell asleep within then they would fall into their power. Witches would perform spells and ceremonies at these sites, as they believed that enormous power were concentrated in these sites.
